Apart from basking in the mini heatwave and avoiding Swine flu, April has been a quieter month for us on the gigging front.
We have however, been very busy with other things like busking in the streets of Manchester. Here's Rob and Andy on the accordion and Martin on trumpet Ha ha!
I am kidding of course :) but I stumbled across these guys in the city centre the other day and had to stop and take a picture because they were absolutely brilliant!
At Jelly HQ we have been working hard to inject some new songs into our set to freshen things up a bit. Essentially, we have three new songs written and partially recorded; The Past and I, Closing Shadows and Monochrome Memory. We have played The Past and I quite a few times live but have just got round to recording it.
We also have a untitled track that should be finished in the next couple of weeks So if you have not had chance to see us for a while it's definitely worth putting on your glad rags and joining us at one of the following gigs in May:
Friday 1st May: The Tudor House,Wigan
Friday 8th May: Mad Ferret, Preston (with Gideon Conn)
Thursday14th May: Music Box, Manchester (Big City Events)
Friday 29th May: Coda, Preston
Sunday 31st May: Moho Live with Vinny Peculiar
