Liverpool's Magnet

Last night we played a short notice gig which was originally meant to be at a club called 'Studio', but due to a power failure we were moved down the street to the awesome venue that is The Magnet.
What a great place, and it's steeped in history; I've just read that it's the place where Freddie Mercury first played with Brian May. It's also no.29 of the Best Bars in the World according to GQ magazine.

The gig was organised by two LIPA students, who really looked after us; I don't think I was without a beer in my hand for the whole night.

Here's Rob waiting to soundcheck:

And here's the gig poster, taken this morning on my way home:Hopefully we'll be playing there again soon, the onstage sound was fantastic - it's not often that the drummer gets a monitor that's bigger than the bass player, so it's thumbs up from me!

Setlist was:
Parasite
Undefined
The Past and I
Sniper Smiles
Matter of Time
Smash and Grab
Checkmate
Alibi
